'SWIM FOR GOLD FUNDRAISER'

The fundraising event has been run each year since 2001, held at the Redcliffe Swimming Pool Queensland.   Sponsored teams of six swimmers are pitched against each other in a sequence of novelty relays.  For a price, entrants can use artificial aides like flippers and kickboards to improve their chances.  They can even buy a celebrity swimmer to bolster their team.
