Peter Bodman
Chairman & Non-Executive Director
Peter Co-founded Kids with Cancer Foundation in 1998 and has served as Executive Director for 25 years.
He has been instrumental in developing the foundation’s fundraising activities and brings extensive knowledge and experience in the Australian charities industry to his role as Director.
Tragically, Peter’s parents and sister all died from cancer, which motivated him to see that children suffering the same disease, through no fault of their own, are cared for and supported through direct financial assistance, excellent clinical support and research.
His leadership of Kids with Cancer Foundation has seen it reach its proud lifetime 25 year milestone with more than $30 million contributed nationally to families, hospitals and cancer research.

Danielle Smith
Non-Executive Director
Danielle has spent much of her career in customer service and helping others.
Danielle’s son William was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at the age of 6 and after 2 years of treatment, he sadly lost his battle.
Danielle continues to honour William’s memory and legacy by raising awareness of childhood cancer, helping other children and their families going through childhood cancer treatment, and is honoured to be a member of the board.

Craig Mackey
Non-Executive Director
Craig has over 22 Years experience with Kids with Cancer Foundation as a board member.
His family values and passion working with kids as a junior soccer coach, reflects his volunteering passion for families within the local community.

Linda Vitali-Alchin
Non-Executive Director
Linda has 20 years experience as an employee of the Kids with Cancer Foundation, she is now a valued Director. Linda has an in-depth knowledge how the Foundation and the paediatric oncology landscape operates throughout Australia.

Peter Vlahopal
Non-Executive Director
Over 40 years’ experience in Chartered accounting public practices, with 30 of those years as a principal in chartered accounting practices.
During this period services provided to various organisations management, accounting, and taxation services, conduct of statutory audits of manufacturers, importers, wholesales of food products, commercial construction companies, wholly owned subsidiaries of foreign companies involved in the retail trade.
Also, during the last 23 years audit services provided to the ‘not for profit sector’ covering public benevolent institutions involved in various forms of cancer research, conduct of audits for incorporated and unincorporated entities in the aged care industry.
During this period special assignments provided during this time were company reconstructions, valuations of businesses, dispute resolution, assistance with Information Technology implementation, and Business Interruption Insurance Claims.
Currently employed as the Corporate Service Manager for large Aged Care Provider in NSW and the ACT.

Odette Quine
Non-Executive Director
Odette brings over 30 years of experience in the finance industry, having held various leadership positions throughout her career. She has learned that success is driven by people, and that collaboration is key to making a positive impact on the community. Passionate about giving back, Odette is excited to contribute to Kids with Cancer Foundation and play a meaningful role in supporting its vision.

Paul Tredinnick
Non-Executive Director
Paul Tredinnick is a seasoned senior marketing director with over 25 years of experience driving global consumer brands across diverse retail sectors, including Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), grocery, and hardware. He has held key roles with brands like Mars Snackfood, Unilever, McDonald's, Burger King, and Primo Foods, gaining invaluable insights into building successful brands in competitive markets.
Paul excels in strategic planning, leveraging innovative thinking, data-driven insights, and clear communication to drive growth and elevate brand presence. His ability to align teams and execute effective marketing strategies has consistently delivered strong results.
Governance
The Board of Directors is the key-decision making body of Kids with Cancer Foundation and is responsible for its overall governance. The Board’s role and responsibilities are governed by a comprehensive Board Charter Document.
