Help us change a sick child’s life by making them feel more confident. We’ve made it easy for everyone to do a Wigs 4 Kids™ fundraiser. Just click on the register now button.
What is the Wigs 4 Kids™ Campaign?
We receive many enquiries regarding hair donations. There are two ways sick kids can benefit from this campaign. One is to donate hair, which will be made into a brand new wig for a child needing to feel a little more normal. The second is to fundraise. This helps us supply bespoke wigs free of charge to children 6-18 years old.
Click on the register now button if you would like to raise funds. You can then start sharing your unique fundraising page with your friends and family so they can donate to your cause. Don’t forget to take before and after photos to encourage others to follow your lead.
How to Donate Hair
‘Ella Wigmakers’ will accept all types of hair. The hair needs to be a minimum length of 20cm clean and dry. Before cutting, tie up multiple pony tails (where you can) with elastic bands down the length of the pony tail. Plaiting works too. Then cut above the top elastic band and post in a plastic zip lock bag inside an addressed parcel to:
