A Weekend to Remember

Bianca and Jayden enjoyed a behind-the-scenes Super2 Series experience as Kids with Cancer Foundation Ambassador Cody Burcher made his official ambassador debut at the Darwin Triple Crown.

The betr Darwin Triple Crown delivered plenty of excitement on track, but for two Kids with Cancer Foundation families, the weekend was about so much more than racing.

As part of his first official race weekend as a Kids with Cancer Foundation Ambassador, Cody Burcher welcomed Bianca, Jayden and their families into the world of Supercars, giving them a behind-the-scenes experience they will never forget.

From exploring the paddock and visiting the garage to meeting the team and experiencing the atmosphere of race weekend up close, the families were treated to an unforgettable few days at Hidden Valley Raceway.

While the racing created plenty of excitement, it was the smiles, laughter and memories shared throughout the weekend that made the experience truly special.

Meet Bianca and Jayden

For Bianca and her family, the weekend was filled with moments of pure joy. Whether spending time with Cody, getting up close to the race car or soaking up the atmosphere trackside, her excitement was infectious.

Jayden and his family embraced every opportunity the weekend had to offer. Experiencing life behind the scenes of a professional racing team and being welcomed into the action created memories that will stay with them long after the chequered flag fell.

For families navigating the challenges of childhood cancer, experiences like these provide a chance to step away from hospital appointments, treatment schedules and everyday pressures. They offer an opportunity to simply be together, have fun and create lasting family memories.

More Than Just Racing

At Kids with Cancer Foundation, we know that support comes in many forms.

While practical and financial assistance help families navigate some of the challenges that come with a childhood cancer diagnosis, creating moments of happiness and connection is equally important.

Experiences like the Darwin Triple Crown give families the chance to focus on something other than cancer. They create opportunities for kids and their loved ones to make new memories, enjoy new experiences and feel part of something special.

The joy seen on the faces of Bianca and Jayden throughout the weekend is a powerful reminder of the impact these moments can have.

Cody’s First Weekend as a Kids with Cancer Foundation Ambassador

The Darwin Triple Crown also marked an important milestone for Cody as he officially represented Kids with Cancer Foundation for the first time as an ambassador.

Despite the demands of a busy race weekend, Cody generously made time for both families, ensuring they felt welcomed, included and part of the team from the moment they arrived.

His kindness, generosity and genuine commitment to creating a positive experience for the families reflected exactly what our ambassador program is all about.

On track, Cody showed plenty of determination, charging through the field on Sunday to gain four positions and secure an eighth-place finish in the Super2 Series.

Off track, however, his greatest achievement was the smiles he helped create.

A heartfelt thank you to the Montag family, whose belief in Kids with Cancer Foundation has helped create unforgettable experiences for families like Bianca’s and Jayden’s, while also making our partnership with Cody Burcher possible.

Looking Ahead to Perth

As the Super2 season continues, we look forward to seeing Cody’s ambassador journey grow and to creating many more special experiences for kids and families facing cancer.

To Cody: thank you for making the Darwin Triple Crown such a memorable weekend.

The race results will become part of the record books, but the smiles, laughter and memories created throughout the weekend will last a lifetime.

Next stop: Perth. we cannot wait!
