Davistown Putt Putt Regatta

April 2nd 2023

The Davistown Putt Putt Regatta and Wooden Boat Festival is a great event and also an opportunity for the people to celebrate the Central Coast and the culture that is a part of history, heritage and local character.

Putt Putt boats usually range in length from 14-18 feet (4 metres) and are powered by either single or twin cylinder engines which make a familiar Putt Putt exhaust sound. Many Putt Putt boats are still in use on Brisbane Water today. In the Davistown area over 30 of the classics can be seen on their moorings.

This event is one of the largest of its kind on the eastern seaboard. Putt Putts travel from all across New South Wales, Queensland and the ACT to take to the water, and it is a great opportunity to celebrate the Central Coast, its culture, heritage and putt putt history.

This event supports the October 2022 Putt Putt Charity Dinner, plus Heritage Ferry Challenge and Putt About which together raised over $10,000 for Kids with Cancer Foundation.
